I’m Danielle Shryock, author of multiple books, podcast host, and leader of the disability ministry at my church. I’ve also had the opportunity to speak about this on several occasions. However, my most important role is being a mom to my three adult children.
My passion for starting a disability ministry came from having a daughter born with a chromosomal disorder. She’s twenty-six, nonverbal, and in a wheelchair, and much of what I write comes from the indescribable joy that radiates from her. I also find inspiration from my two grown boys, who love the Lord and serve Him faithfully.
I’ve written several fiction books that dive into spiritual warfare. I’m passionate about continuing to write for as long as the creative ideas keep coming.
In addition to writing, I co-host a podcast with my good friend, Kari Kai Beck. Kari Kai is a mom to four married children, adores her eleven grandchildren, and has been married to her best friend for forty years. She has a heart for children’s ministry and is an incredible listener and encourager. Together, we came up with the idea for our podcast, Step into Grace, after walking through complex paths where we both experienced the immeasurable grace of God. Realizing that everyone faces struggles, we wanted to share people’s stories to bring hope to our listeners.
